My Dad, Moose, noticed that the Profile section of the forum was unreadable last night. So, today, I found the code and changed it so it should be readable to everyone. I also did a bit more tweaking of colors to make it easier on my eyes. However, as my wife says, I don’t live in just my own little world. Please let me know if you have any issues with colors, fonts, font sizes, etc. that relate to readability.

Hello Everyone.

I have installed a new forum. There General and Recipe forums at the moment. Please register for this site, and test out the forum. I still have to change the style and font colors to match the main theme of the website. Please let me know if there are any usability issues or things that just plain don’t work.

As you can see, we have changed the Sequoia Dutch Ovens website.  We were having a lot of problems with forum spammers signing up using the old software.  It became such a hassle to clean up, that it was easier to just start from scratch.

If you had an account on the old site, you will need to sign up again on the new site.  There are plans to put in a web-based forum here similar to our Yahoo Groups site.  Also, a recipe section, hints and tips, etc.

To join our current group on Yahoo, please go to our Yahoo Groups Sequioa Dutch Ovens board.  Signup is easy and quick.  It will take 1-2 days to have your registration approved as we also had a lot of spam on that site as well.
